“Oh, the thinks you can think” when Dr. Seuss’s best-loved stories collide and cavort in an unforgettable musical caper! 2017 Pennsylvania Farm Show @ PA Farm Show Complex – January 7-14
Celebrate agriculture at the 2017 Pennsylvania Farm Show, the largest agricultural exposition in the country. With nearly 6,000 animals, 10,000 competitive exhibits and 300 commercial exhibits spread throughout 11 buildings, the Farm Show offers something for the whole family. 300 North Cameron St, Harrisburg

Murder On The Nile @ Oyster Mill Playhouse – January 27-28, February 2-5, 9–12
Simon Mostyn has recently married Kay Ridgeway, a rich woman, having thrown out his former lover, Jacqueline. The couple are on their honeymoon on a paddle steamer on the Nile, accompanied by a bevy of memorable characters. Among those present are Canon Pennefather, Kay’s guardian, and Jacqueline, who has been dogging their footsteps all through the honeymoon. Murder and mayhem ensue.

First Day Hike @ Kings Gap – January 1
Resolve to start the New Year on the right foot with an easy 1.5 mile hike on fairly level trails in the Pine Plantation. Learn about the park’s trail system and more hiking opportunities throughout the coming year. Registration is not required for this free hike.
